Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions outline the agreement between Stuffel Balloons and the Client for all custom balloon décor, stuffed balloon gifts, delivery, installation, and related services. By placing an order or confirming a booking, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
1. Definitions
Throughout these Terms & Conditions:
• "Stuffel Balloons", "I", "my", or "me" refers to Stuffel Balloons.
• "Client" refers to the individual or organization booking the service.
• "Services" include all balloon décor, stuffed balloons, installations, deliveries, rentals, consultations, and related event services.
2. Scope of Services
Each project is custom designed according to the approved quotation, consultation, or invoice. Services may include design, production, delivery, installation, teardown, rentals, and personalized gifts depending on the selected package or proposal.
3. Booking & Orders
Your event date is reserved only after:

acceptance of the quotation

receipt of the required retainer

written confirmation from Stuffel Balloons.
Final design details should be confirmed no later than seven (7) calendar days before the event unless otherwise agreed.
4. Artistic Variation & Interpretation
Every design is handcrafted and unique.
Inspiration photos are used as creative references only and cannot be replicated exactly.
Balloon brands, colours, sizes, floral elements, specialty materials, and decorative accessories may vary based on supplier availability.
Stuffel Balloons reserves the right to make artistic substitutions of equal or greater value while preserving the overall style and quality of the design.
5. Pricing, Deposits & Payments
All prices are in Canadian Dollars (CAD).
A 50% non-refundable retainer is required to secure your date. Deposits compensate for reserved dates, planning time, and material purchasing.
The remaining balance must be settled at least 3 days before delivery or the start of onsite installation.
Outstanding balances not received by the due date may result in cancellation of the booking.
Late payments may be subject to additional fees.
6. Changes, Rescheduling & Cancellations
Client Requests

Minor design changes are welcomed whenever possible.

Significant changes may require a revised quotation.
Rescheduling

One complimentary reschedule with at least 7 days' notice (subject to availability).
Cancellation

Canceling within 7 days of an event forfeits your retainer

Cancellations under 72 hours may result in a total loss of the booking fee.
7. Delivery & Installation
Delivery costs may apply to areas outside of Ottawa and surrounding communities.
Clients must guarantee venue entry at the agreed scheduled time.
Delivery windows are approximate and may vary due to traffic or unforeseen circumstances.
Installation begins only once the venue is accessible.
Professional removal can be requested and paid for as an additional service, unless otherwise indicated as part of services.
8. Client Responsibilities

9. Rental Equipment
Rental equipment remains the property of Stuffel Balloons.
Clients are responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged rental items.
Replacement costs may be charged if equipment is not returned in its original condition.
10. Balloons, Safety & Allergies
Balloons should be handled with care to avoid choking hazards. Please notify us of latex sensitivities.
Balloon float times vary depending on temperature, humidity, sunlight, transportation, and handling.
Stuffel Balloons cannot guarantee exact float duration after delivery.
We support environmental safety. Balloons should never be released into the environment.
11. Marketing
I may photograph the work for social media or promotional portfolios. If you prefer that your event remains private, please provide a written request before your scheduled date. No client names or personal information will be shared without permission.
12. Refunds & Credits
Refunds are not provided for custom products once production has begun.
Service credits may be offered at the sole discretion of Stuffel Balloons.
13. Damage & Liability Limits
Stuffel Balloons responsibility ends once delivery is finished.
Stuffel Balloons is not responsible for balloon longevity affected by weather, direct sunlight, venue conditions, ceiling height, transportation after delivery, or client handling.
Total liability is capped at the amount paid for the specific service provided.
14. Weather & Outdoor Events
Balloons are sensitive to wind and heat.
For outdoor setups, I cannot guarantee longevity, and I strongly suggest having a secondary indoor location planned for your event.
Outdoor installations are not guaranteed once delivered.
15. Force Majeure
Stuffel Balloons is not held responsible for any failures to perform due to accidents, extreme weather, strikes, or other major events that remain outside of our direct control.
16. Privacy & Governing Law
Personal information is collected solely for the purpose of providing requested services and will never be sold or shared except where required by law.
